At Smooth Flowmeters, customer satisfaction and product quality are our highest priorities. Every product manufactured and supplied by us undergoes strict quality inspections and testing before dispatch. Since many of our products are engineered, calibrated, or customized to meet specific customer requirements, returns are accepted only under the conditions outlined in this policy. By purchasing products from Smooth Flowmeters, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Return Policy.

Products may be considered for return only if an incorrect product has been supplied by Smooth Flowmeters, a verified manufacturing defect is identified, the product has been damaged during transportation, or the supplied product does not conform to the approved purchase order or technical specification. All return requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to review and approval by our technical and commercial teams. Submission of a return request does not automatically constitute acceptance of the return.

Customized products, specially engineered flowmeters, products manufactured according to customer specifications, calibrated instruments, products that have been installed, modified, repaired by unauthorized personnel, or damaged due to improper handling, installation, misuse, chemical incompatibility, electrical faults, accidents, or normal wear and tear are generally not eligible for return. Products returned without prior written authorization from Smooth Flowmeters will not be accepted.

Initiating a Return Request

To initiate a return request, customers should provide the purchase order number, invoice number, product model, serial number (where applicable), date of purchase, reason for return, and supporting photographs or videos whenever necessary. Our technical team may request additional information to evaluate the request before granting return authorization.

RMA and Inspection

No product shall be returned without obtaining prior written approval or a Return Material Authorization (RMA) from Smooth Flowmeters. All approved returned products will undergo inspection by our Quality Assurance Department to determine whether the product qualifies for warranty repair, replacement, chargeable repair, or rejection. The decision of Smooth Flowmeters following technical evaluation shall be final.

Transit Damage and Shortages

Customers are requested to inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery. Any visible transit damage, shortages, or discrepancies should be reported to both the transporter and Smooth Flowmeters within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to report transportation damage within the specified period may affect eligibility for replacement or insurance claims.

Warranty Remedies

Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed under the applicable warranty, Smooth Flowmeters may, at its sole discretion, repair the product, replace defective components, replace the complete product, or provide another suitable technical solution. The selected remedy shall constitute the customer's exclusive remedy under the warranty. Unless otherwise specified, replacement of a product shall not extend the original warranty period.

Non-Warranty Repairs

Products found to be outside the warranty period may still be repaired, subject to technical feasibility and availability of spare parts. Charges for repairs, replacement components, recalibration, transportation, and applicable taxes shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Shipping and Packaging Costs

Unless the return is due to an error by Smooth Flowmeters or a confirmed manufacturing defect covered under warranty, customers shall be responsible for return freight, insurance, customs duties (where applicable), and proper packaging of the returned products. Smooth Flowmeters shall not be responsible for damage occurring during return transportation due to inadequate packaging or improper handling.

Refunds

As Smooth Flowmeters primarily manufactures industrial and customized flow measurement solutions, refunds are generally not applicable. In exceptional circumstances, any refund shall be considered only after technical inspection, commercial evaluation, and approval by the management of Smooth Flowmeters.

Limitation of Liability

Smooth Flowmeters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including production losses, business interruption, loss of profits, installation costs, removal costs, or third-party claims arising from the use, failure, or return of any product. Our liability shall be limited solely to the repair or replacement of products covered under the applicable warranty.

Policy Amendments

Smooth Flowmeters reserves the right to amend or update this Return Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version published on our website shall supersede all previous versions and shall apply to all future transactions.
