The velocity of the liquid causes the turbine to rotate. The rotational speed of the turbine is directly proportional to the volumetric flow rate, making it highly accurate for clean and hygienic liquids.

TCF Series

Principle of Operation: The liquid enters the flowmeter and passes through a precision-machined turbine rotor. The velocity of the liquid causes the turbine to rotate. The rotational speed of the turbine is directly proportional to the volumetric flow rate. A magnetic or Hall-effect sensor detects the turbine rotation. Each rotation generates a pulse signal, which is converted into flow rate and totalized volume.
